Seguin ISD appoints new superintendent

Jack Lee has been appointed as the new superintendent for the Seguin Independent School District.

Lee previously served as superintendent for Bullard ISD and during his tenure, he restructured the district’s curriculum, established a mental health support system and passed a $103 million bond to help fund new facilities.

Oak Ridge North names new police chief

Ken Foulch has been appointed as the new police chief for Oak Ridge North.

Foulch brings over 30 years of experience to the role, serving as the division commander of the Professional Standards Division for the Huntsville Police Department. Foulch also serves as an accreditation program coordinator with the Texas Police Chiefs Association.

Royal ISD selects Pape as new superintendent

Megan Pape has been appointed as the new superintendent for Royal ISD.

Pape recently served as superintendent for Snook ISD and assumes the role following the departure of Rick Kershner. During her tenure, the district experienced nearly 15% student enrollment growth, completed campus renovations and began planning a bond to support future facilities.

Texas A&M HECM appoints new COO

Ernest Aliseda has been appointed as the new chief operating officer and associate vice president for Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen (HECM).

Aliseda currently serves as the general counsel for DHR Health and steps into the new role following the retirement of Manuel Vela. In his new role at HECM, Aliseda will oversee academic, administrative and community engagement efforts in the Rio Grande Valley.

Waco ISD selects new executive director of communications

Jill Anderson has been appointed as the new executive director of communications for Waco Independent School District.

Anderson brings nearly 20 years of experience in communications strategy to the role and joins Waco ISD after serving as senior director for the Baylor Center for School Leadership at Baylor University. Anderson graduated from the Baylor University MBA program and is registered as a certified Accredited Public Relations professional.

Bastrop ISD names Lee as interim superintendent

Kristi Lee has been appointed as interim superintendent for Bastrop ISD.

Lee brings over 20 years of experience in public education to the role and has served as deputy superintendent for the district since 2022. Lee steps into the role following the retirement of longtime superintendent Barry Edwards.
